Alex King, Founder
Alex is a veteran of Silicon Valley who relocated to Denver, Colorado in 2004. He has been doing web development since 1996 and has designed and developed enterprise software applications for Fortune 500 and Global 2000 customers.
His expertise in web-based user interface design led him to begin developing his own software products as the need for these products became apparent. As his products grew in popularity and more time needed to be dedicated to expanding the products, Alex King founded Crowd Favorite as his full-time consulting and software product venture.
Alex is also well known for his open source contributions; in particular as a founding developer of WordPress and for his ongoing work in the WordPress community.

When not soaking in the beauty of Colorado or training in aikido, Eric likes to draw parallels between things and other things.

From the early ’80s to present day, he has worked on customized inventory database systems, and developed web applications for trucking companies, the hospitality industry, and a startup with a web-based video platform, among other things.
Along the way, he has contributed his efforts to several open source projects, the most well-known of which are WordPress and POV-Ray. Dougal comes to Crowd Favorite with a strong background in developing web applications in Perl and PHP, and with with an eye towards web standards and the emerging semantic web.
Dougal’s offline time is spent with his wife, three children, a dog, and a cat. He hasn’t taught the dog and cat how to set up their own blogs yet, but he’s working on it.
